Example of the recovery of short sightedness   Patient S., 20 years old, a student. She turned to us apropos short sightedness (6,0 dioptrics). Short sightedness was for the first time revealed into 12 years. First 1,0 dioptrics, which increased in the course of time. With the load on the eyes, after 30 minutes appeared strong headaches and pains in the eyes. With the instrument inspection of eyeground were revealed the disturbance of its vascular figure, the pallor of visual nipple, the disturbance of accommodation. The patient in the course of 1,5 months is past 3 courses of acupuncture (from IV and V courses the patient  refused in connection with the passage to a constant stay into another city). Acupuncture was accompanied with the visual exercises of eyes, which were developed by this author and by point the massage of the corresponding active points (massage and the exercises of eyes were carried out the patient herself before the mirror three times a day). Gradually (with the treatment) sight began to be improved, the force of glasses of the patient was step by step lowered.
